About Me

I came to massage after raising a family, working as a nurse, and volunteering with hospice. I am a long time Yoga student and am interested in all areas of integrated health modalities. I appreciate the cultural ambience and pedestrian lifestyle in Cambridge. I enjoy long walks with my dog and exploring all the vegetarian food choices available here.

My massage experience has included working at a women’s health club, doing sports massage with a variety of athletes, working with Harvard students and faculty and at other chair massage stress relief events, hotel massage work in Cambridge and Boston, working with a small wellness group with a wide variety of clients, and providing hospice massage, as well as prenatal massage.

My massage focus is to listen to your needs and to discover, with you, what your body needs in our massage session. I structure each massage mindfully, to respond to each unique person.

I also enjoy helping clients learn body awareness, stress reduction, and active self-care, so they can make the most of the benefits of massage after a therapeutic session. My goal is also to help you become more comfortable in your body by using naturally healthy alignment principles and by recognizing and changing habits of chronic strain patterns before they develop into chronic pain or injury.
